Daniel Smith
Dan Smith is the Founder and Advisor of FreeMind Financial Advisory. He started the firm in 2023 as a way to help individuals, families, and businesses make more informed financial decisions and reduce the fees those clients pay for such services.
Previously, Dan worked in Corporate Finance at Hunter Douglas and Investment Banking at Lazard. Dan graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and concentration in Finance.
Dan lives in Shirley, NY with his wife Julia, son Nicholas, and pointer / heeler mix Joey. In his free time, Dan enjoys playing ice hockey, strategy games, and spending time with his family.
