Daniel Smith
Daniel is the Founder and Advisor of FreeMind Financial Advisory. He started the firm in 2023 as a way to help individuals, families, and businesses have more clarity and confidence in financial decisions by providing insight into the factors most important to one's plan.
Previously, Dan worked in Investment Banking at Lazard and Corporate Finance at Hunter Douglas. Dan is a graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and concentration in Finance.
Dan currently lives in Shirley, NY with his wife Julia, sons Nicholas and Walter, and dog Joey (a pointer/heeler mix). In his free time, Dan enjoys playing ice hockey and spending time with his family.
